James is an architectural designer and historic preservationist at Treanor Architects, graduating from the University of Kansas in 2021 with a masters degree in architecture and a graduate certificate in historic preservation. He is passionate about the history of architecture and urbanism in Kansas City and America at large. James is a member of AIA, APT, UrbanlabKC and a commissioner on the Historic Preservation Commission of Kansas City.
